Mulberry can easily adopt to different climates and soils; it can grown both in mild and sub-tropical climate conditions. The production of white mulberry is very common in Turkey, mostly in Easter and Central Anatolia.

If a food highly includes antioxidants, vitamins and other nutritional values, it is called as "super food". "White mulberry" is one of the most important plants which is accepted as a superfood as it contains oleic acid, linoleic acid, linolenic acid, carbohydrate, protein.
